What amenities are at the cabin?

Double bed, fridge with freezer compartment, single oven/grill, two ring induction hob, Belfast sink, kettle, toaster, recycling bins, wood-burning stove, electric shower, fan heater in the shower room, hairdryer, blankets and cushions for outdoors, picnic blanket for the beach

What is included in the price?

Bed linen, slippers and towels

Laura Thomas Co bathroom toiletries

Tea, ground Steampunk coffee, sugar, milk, salt and pepper, cooking oil and baked treats on arrival

Logs for wood burner

What entertainment is within the cabin?

Scrabble, playing cards and plenty of books. No TV or Wifi (it is possible to get 4G if you can't bear to be completely unplugged).

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm

Check-out is by 10am

What is access to the cabin like?

Access to the Cabin is a short (20metre) walk through the woods so unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs.

Are you dog friendly?

It's nice to be able to bring your four legged companion on holiday too so we allow 1-2 well behaved dogs at £20 per dog per stay. Dogs are strictly not allowed on the bed or chairs and please ensure they kept under control at all times, there are a lot of wild animals in the woods and fields round about.

The secret cabin is very accessible by bus, despite being situated in a remote, coastal area with access to great walks along the beach. The log burning stove and outdoor fire pit were lovely, as was being able to look up at the stars! All facilities were great and the bed - super comfortable. As a student this is a lot to pay, but it was undoubtedly worth it!

We had two blissful days at the Secret Cabin with our doggo and filled with beach walks, and slow meals, scrabble books and a dram. Everything we needed to properly unwind.

What a fantastic break. Lucky to have 2 sunny days after the storms of the previous weeks. The cabin is perfect and the small touches such as the secret cabin cups and dressing gowns just raise it to a different level. We had our large German shepherd with us and close proximity to amazing beaches made our walks so memorable. We managed a couple of hours on sun chairs outside with drinks . Would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Twinkling lights. Homemade treats. Beautiful decorations & craftsmanship. Searching for seaglass. Hot chocolate in the winter sun. Star gazing in bed. That wonderful smell of a roaring fire. Listening to the birds day & night. Scrabble by candlelight…

Wonderful!! The cabin is soooo cosy, beautifully finished to a high standard. The lovely little touches, like slippers and hot water bottle etc just show the thought put into making sure your stay is comfortable. The setting is amazing also, couldn't ask for more.
